History:
DC Stick Arc Welding was developed in 1952 and
formally known as "welding rectifier"
because of rectifier components used at the output
sage of welding transformer. It has better welding
result than Stick AC Arc Welding.
Definition: When DC current is used for welding
using flux coated electrodes instead of AC Current,
the process known as DC Stick Arc Welding.
Principle: First line volts steps downed to 50
to 80 Volts suitable for welding, then the output
volts of transformer is rectified using semiconductor
diodes, which convert it to DC volts. Dc volts
produces better weld bead than AC welding Machine.
